This question hits at the heart of so much for me. The work for me is like physical fitness. Some people love swimming, some enjoy running, or yoga, or martial arts, or Ultimate Frisbee. How we do the work is not important. It's is THAT we do the work (to get our heart rate up, push our muscles, etc.) that makes a difference.

For me.. it has been a combination of meditation, ideation, and asking for feedback from others. Meditation quiets my mind, time for ideation allows me to be creative, and asking for feedback from trusted friends helps me check my natural default setting. That's my daily workout. It works for me.
