I chose my mom. She was a speech and language teacher for over 30 years. She started our thinking she would be an English teacher, but in college someone who was a speech and language teacher. She said she chose teaching because she liked school and was inspired by some of her teachers. She said the most rewarding part was seeing the progress with the kids... helping them to improve.
