Whenever I'm in a rut (especially when I'm grumpy and tired in the morning) I'll make some coffee, play Jack Johnson, and start my day. I mean -- nobody can be upset while listening to Banana Pancakes! I feel like his music also relieves a lot of the stress and the 'get up and go' that we are constantly pressured with (externally and externally) and focuses on the now. This man was like, hey, I'm gonna just write a song about washing dishes, and then he did, and it's great! Romanticize the little things and your life will be so much more positive, y'know?
