I spoke to my dad and learned that some of his core values are intelligence, accountability, integrity, success. He said that he believes, “the world is a tough daily basis especially as a black man that goes to work and doesn’t do anything that his peers do.” He said that as a parent he has to have these core values to set an example for his kids and pave the way for them to be bright individuals and not have to go through what he went through as a kid.
